A note of appreciation from the Burmese border, thank you for helping us get the Full Gospel of Christ out to a dying world.
The first version of the Born Again Christian News Widget has been downloaded by several thousand people (including 633 Macupdate users to date), and no problems have been reported. It uses the default code in the proprietary Apple Dashcode (tm) software, so it's no surprise it is safe and works perfectly.
Here's a sample of the daily headlines the Widget delivers to your Apple Dashboard:
Jesus and Prostitutes - Frightened, abused, and drug-addled: What would the LORD Jesus Christ say to the whores in your town today?
http://www.born-again-christian.info/prostitutes.prostitution.htm
The Christian View of Halloween - Is there any harm in children enjoying 'Trick or Treat'? Does Halloween have a Christian origin as pagans often claim? Is it innocent fun, or another demonic strategy for introducing the unwary to the occult?
http://www.born-again-christian.info/christian.view.of.halloween.htm
When Leaders Sin - Should you leave, or stay, in a fellowship where the leaders are sinning?

Note from the Developer of the Born Again Christian News Widget:
Thank you for your comments. Please note that this free Dashboard Widget is made using Apple's Dashcode (tm) software. As such, it employs Apple's default RSS feed template code and is perfectly safe.
It delivers the daily Christian RSS feed headlines of the site:
The website proclaims the Full Gospel message typical of mainline Spirit-filled Christians such as; Baptist, Pentecostal, and Charismatic believers.
The Statement of Faith of the host, a self-financed English missionary in Asia, is here:
http://www.born-again-christian.info/faith.htm
Only non-Christians, and pseudo-Christian fringe groups, would feel the need to distance themselves from this software and the message of Christ's love and perfect redemption proclaimed through it.
Give it a try, and if you don't like it, simply remove it as you would any other Dashboard widget.
