Works really great on my i7 920 hackintosh but stutters and doesn't load properly on my 2011 i7 15" MacBook Pro. Both computers running the latest safari and lion.
Looks like a promising piece of software but I have the following problems with it:
• It hangs while it scans my iPod, it should probably give feedback on progress.
• Occasionally crashes during import.
• Songs rated at 3 Stars, turn into 2 stars when imported.
I needed a syncing solution between my MacBook Pro and Power Mac G4, and at time SyncTogether has worked but there are a lot of times where it will say it has failed, or it just corrupts all your data (luckily I have most data backed up).
The interface is ugly, and why is there a Mark/Space store in this programme? Paid $50 for a programme filled with ads. When it syncs it pops up the window, which is annoying, why can't it be done in the background? Maybe it should have a menulet?
SyncTogether would be good if it actually worked, but $50 for a buggy beta with ads is definitely too much to pay and I regret it.
