I agree with the previous reviewer in saying "Qu's will probably end up being one of your most-used programs."
Its perfectly designed for grabbing links (web archives) as you go which you assign into notes/collections/projects you've created. Its actually a polished app with well executed features, and excellent value. I don't think there is anything really like this - and it has quickly become one of my most used programs.
"Bug corrected while deleting System Caches" - hmmmm..... maybe my previous comments on a problem i encountered when deleting the cache using oynx are now vindicated....
Why? We will obviously *never* know for sure but if a bug fixed the 'deleting system cache function' is stated then isnt it a logical assumption to make? Its an admission of guilt - ergo, i was right!! - and i dont care what is written here!!! Anyone who replies to this reply is a deluded sycophant :-)
Would be good if the develop can clearly state, both here and on developers website what is 'free' functionality (if any) and what is 'pro' paid for - if thats how it works. I am currently using 1.0.5 and i just noticed a jump to 2.03. Thanks.
Actually, i update software regularly so maybe i am running a higher version but the 'About' under prefs hasn't been changed? Either way the above question still stands.
Like it alot. Been using it for a few weeks now. Its as it says - clear & easy to use. Ive been wanting to consistently write a journal for sometime now and i feel with this tidy little app i will.
I own myText & myDiary - i'm a big fan of these two apps. Both have the necessary functionality for me without 'distracting' from their actual function - to help the user Focus.
Best FTP Manager. Ive tried a few of the big names on & off, and although not an intensive ftp user, this works and works very well for me to manage my Mobileme iDisk account. And it, as someone said, looks & feels like a Mac app should. The others are ugly in my opinion. Also like the droplets - a v.easy way to upload a file. Please continue to develop!!
Great app. Used it for a while and it works for me. Allows immediate focus by removing all distractions - calming & easy platform from which let the words flow.
Data stays intact and it feels safe. Thanks, and keep developing!
I agree with Andre. GOOD but needs alot of "bugs hunting down" - esp. it not properly updating all feeds, or if it does it doesnt highlight them. Surely this needs to be fixed asap?! Otherwise the app is useless.
Please fix the problems and make this unique app usable.
When i have this app on and activate expose i have a extra completely blank 'screen space' appear? Bug? Just me? When i quit it expose the extra space goes also.....
I cant open iSale, HitList, Process or iCal and in Safari i cant open youtube.... so whats gone wrong? Probably a few others things glitching in the background that have yet to fully surface. All this after doing a user cache clean with the standard checkboxes marked - 100% fault of OYNX. Im going to Apple Genuis bar tomorrow and i will see what they say - hopefully they can fix it without a complete reinstall. If not then a complete reinstall is my only option. Onyx is like using a Windoze app. Will wont trust Onyx again. Let this be a warning to others.
STUPID MONKEY - I tried it BEFORE anyone on here suggested it, i did my own research on apple support forums & google before posting here ..... And the apple genius tried it again today, along with other stuff, and it didn't work! The only solution - so far - seems to be a fresh install.....
I reinstalled Snow Leopard and the 10.6.2 Combo update, without full erase, and the iCal Helper 99% cpu error has stopped. I havent tried to use iCal so the issue may just be hidden.... but im happy with that things could be back to normal. The End.
Stop working for me today and in trying to get it to work again other problems have come up. I love this app but i have no choice but to move to Vuze because i cannot get it to work again - bar a complete reinstall of the OSX which im not going to do (but might have to do bcos of other issues created trying to solve this problem!). Ive deleted the app and reinstalled and it still wont work. Left a post on the support forum but no response as yet. Vuze is not bad .... many a few to many pref options .... but i will have to get used to it.....
Everything was fine until i used the user cache cleaner function and its caused me a major headache. The OSX was perfect and now i dont know how many issues will come up going forward. After the cache clean I get "iCal helper" cycling at 99% CPU on start up. After forcing quitting it it restarts after 10 mins etc. and when i start iCal itself it comes up with a message saying "iCal upgrading calendars" and never goes beyond that - crashes.
Im not pleased.
This should be a rating of 1 review and it still might be. I appreciate its a free app but i never expected major issues......
It might be an isolated incident but it doesnt negate the fact that it messed up MY system. I have nothing geeky or niche about my setup - just a regular home user. Its wiped something to do with the ical and i have no idea why or how to fix it..... i dont want to spend hours reinstalling from scratch and setting up the OSX/Apps exactly how i like them but it looks like i might have to with ical helper kicking in every 30 mins and zapping the cpu.... so frustrating.
Love the app but wonder why the unprocessed count still goes out of alignment every-time i open a folder? Surely its not that difficult to fix this ........
