So amazing and always being made more useful - instead of bloated [he LISTENS].
Incredible free sw that is invaluable for it's versatility and purposefullness [is that a word? ..it should be just for this sw]
...and thanks, always, for making us all so happy for no charge!
X Lossless Decoder does this without any fuss; it's the best mac audio converter/ripper available. Max makes intermediate conversions XLD does not. So why waste time with this or Max?
So far so good; unfortunately for music streaming/browsing the lack of good genre and composer submenus really hampers browsing for jazz, folk, rock, classical, and more diverse collections of music.
But, this can only get better than it already is, right!?
I am only able to use up to the 6.1.3 ImageBrowser Upgrader app; every subsequent upgrader hangs searching.
What's the problem Canon, I'm running 10.4.11 on a dualcore2 intel imac and you won't let me upgrade?
I am happy to report, that for me, I no longer am experiencing the faulty first file ripping error.
20090215 seems to have fixed this annoyance.
Thanks again!!!
This is still my favourite mac ripper/sound file app; however, I have gone back to version 20080818 because of difficulties with the first track not being completely processed, while all others are fine. This occurred with all subsequent versions of the app at one point or another until I finally settled back on version 20080818, where it has never happened.
The incomplete file process would consistently happen with mp3 rips. Not sure if other processes were consistently affected by this 'bug'.
I don't know if it is only my computer, as others to my knowledge haven't complained about it.
I haven't seen an update in a while, I do hope this can be checked, and the newer version fix finally this problem for me(if it isn't my fault somehow). [2.16 INTEL Core2Duo 10.4.11]
Thanks for a great piece of free software!

I'm on a iMac core 2 Duo 2.16mhz with 10.4.11, and I was running ver.3.0 which was acceptable.
THIS 3.1 version however, ground my machine to halt with spotty keyboard and mouse behaviour - and countless other app weirdnesses.
I know this control panel has a spotty history - fix it better than this, really it's sad you made it even worse!
