The UI in v 1.6 is maybe nice on iPad, but is not as easy readable on Mac as it was with previous versions (pictured above). The temperature graph is not showing different colors for hot, average and cold temps, the info in the locations sidebar is also less extensive compared to previous versions.
I don't know about others but I don't really like the UI in 1.6......

A single Gmail account notifier? It is so old and so disappointing now when even Gmail officially allows multiple accounts and provides settings for up to 3 accounts' switching....

iPhone Photo Transfer

Just installed. It found my iPad Touch v4 but it is not really working beyond that. I have only 7 photos on my Touch taken right now for testing this app - it is already 15 minutes running, 'loading Photo database' with no progress. Junk....

The info link is redirected now to new program called AllSecure - "Formerly RiftVault" as stated on the page - and it is version 1.0 now....

Same screenshot and same price as RiftVault...

What is this? Where did RiftVault go?

What about us who purchased RiftVault? There is no option for us to update to AllSecure...

$25 per computer??? For syncing utility, regardless how good, is simply unacceptable. I use 4 different macs at home and buying 4 licenses for $100 is not what I will do. $25 per home network would be a different story and fully justifiable.

All those "OH's" and "AH's" here with 3 to 5 star ratings smell fishy to me too.

I purchased NetShade about 2 years ago and it never allowed me to use the NetShade's own proxy. Numerous emails to developer were left for months without answers. Few months ago developer replied and "generously" extended my license for another year (MacUpdate description doesn't say that price is for the 1-year license only). So what? Still can't use NetShade proxy - emailed developer on Sep 6 and am still waiting for reply.

And since few days now NetShade doesn't even show any public proxies - thus became a useless piece of overpriced nothing...

Please forgive me if my comment is naive...

What I have hard time to understand is a claim of improved security 1Password allegedly provides. I bought the program long time ago through MacUpdate and uninstalled after one day.

Why? Because 1Password provides only a great (yes, great) convenience for those who don't want or can't remember all their login details. But security? Give me a break.

A thief taking away your computer or good hacker hacking to it has only one password to crack to get all your sensitive data out - the 1Password password. That's all. Instead of trying to crack numbers of your logins, etc. cracking 1Password password is all it takes to get to your accounts, steal your identity, etc..

Please someone correct me if I'm wrong.

It still doesn't make anything more secure than remembering your login data. What you just stated as benefit for most people who otherwise would use same credentials for all accounts is IMHO opinion false - it provides false feeling of security, nothing more.

As more and more people use notebooks (and hundreds of them are stolen or forgotten every day in airports) the probability of having computer stolen grows. I'm not saying that it is easy to steal your desktop from your castle - but your notebook?
