They've done it again!!! Why do they keep moving the refresh button to the opposite end of the toolbar each time a major upgrade is released? I wish I could give my frank and candid opinion of the interface design team at Apple
Visiting YouTube and playing a video when you try to perform a search, the drop down suggestions menu from the search field, gets chopped up by the video stream underneath it
Still a problem with screen redrawing, In 7.0.2 I'm now getting Safari window data (animated gifs) overlaying the iTunes window when iTunes is brought to the front, which is awesomely retro. The screen redraws don't work when switching between list and artwork views (see previous review), and on launch I'm still getting a progress bar - is iTunes checking my credit history before it lets me see my music? If I wanted this level of programming incompetence for proprietary soft/hardware I'd be giving my money to Mr Gates
7.01 Is still full of bugs on my DP G4. The program now has a progress bar saying its loading my library when it starts up! This is just VERY irritating. The real problems are with screen redraws and switching between the view modes. Putting a finder/app window infront of iTunes gives me black areas in the iTunes window as does selecting between the Music, Movies TV Shows etc. Switching between the view modes just makes iTunes unusable as the list selection goes out of sync accross the window - the right hand side being the only operable part. I havn't seen an Apple app as bad as this in a long long time. Back to v6 AGAIN, I'll send Apple the bill for wasting so much of my valuable time.
'AVI uses mpeg4 compression. which is what quicktime is based on'...So the Audio Video Interleave, a multimedia container format introduced by Microsoft in November 1992 is fully supported by Quicktime (/Pro) or the Mac OS is it!! You must be very green because Apple has never supported the AVI format fully. WHAT IS THE POINT OF QUICKTIME IF IT DOSEN'T A MAJOR VIDEO FORMAT!
