This update is not nearly as good as the last. Slow opening pages... takes longer to boot ap... Seems unstable in a lot of areas.

The Newest Safari is better, but I still have the same problems...

Ever since Safari 5.1 etc update, when I try to D/L images off of any website… after a few images my desktop and Safari freezes/beachballs and won't allow me to D/L for a minute or more.

I also get something that looks like a very fast refresh on Safari. It goes white for a second and then seems to refresh the page. Very annoying.

I'm having problems Downloading images on Safari. When I try to click and drag an image off a page like this, I get an "Untitled clipping.textClipping."

I also notice that the main page does this odd blink that looks like a really quick refresh.

I'm changing my Comment. This version seems just as bad as the last. It is interesting that Apple addresses their fixes... but it seems they are not fixed... at least on my computer.

If you, like me, are not into the very boring and uncreative newest iTunes UI... here is a nice Retro UI from Shaun and a Friend of his. I'm in 10.6.8 and iTunes 10.5 (141) and it seems to work just groovy.

I updated this thru Software Update this morning... did Disc Utility - Repair Permissions and all. Then 6 hours later I get a pop-up thru Software Update to update again. Was a newer version released this afternoon?
