I'm rating it 0.5 not because of the new interface but solely because of the fans going ballistic on my ultimate MacBook Air as soon as I turn on the video on my end. Hate it.

I'm not updating my Skype to 2.8 until they fix the following bug:

During the audio/video call, if for some reason it gets disconnected, the call window does not go away, thus preventing the party on the other end from being able to call me back.

I've contacted Skype via so many sources but never seem to get a response from them. So frustrating that I'm about to give up on ever trying to contact big companies again. They never listen!

lately skype video calls have been crashing constantly; have not been able to have a call for longer than 1 minute. very frustrating. additionally audio/voice quality degraded badly, i.e., breaking up nonstop. utterly awful. disgusted.
