Every time I look at a new language or framework, I start looking to see if I need another IDE. But I pop open Coda and it does it all, and better than any of the others.
One of the best software investments I have ever made!
I've spent the better part of the past 2 months evaluating 3d apps, but modo set the bar so high that in the end it wasn't even a contest.
Beautiful GUI, great stability (Intel), exceptional learning materials and support, and a sensible license (per user, not per computer) made the decision a no-brainer.
It is not cheap and the learning curve is not short, but this is an incredible tool that you won't outgrow.
This is kinda crazy! The standalone version is $99 but the Aperture plugin is $299? That make the plugin $100 more than Aperture itself.
Also the upgrade for the Aperture plugin is $89 regardless when you purchased v. 1.
Tiffen must think we are made of money. I've been using TIffen Dfx for about 6 months and it is OK, but I think I'm stop feeding them my hard earned cash.
I can only comment on the latest version (5.2.1), since I just tried and purchased this application, If stunning image quality and ease-of-use are your requirements, this app has no peers!
I have used the lastest versions of Photoshop CS3, Aperture 2, Lightroom 2, Lightzone, and SilkyPix, but none of them can come close to the image quality produced by DxO on high quality RAW images.
The organizational/database features in Dx0 are the only shortcoming. If you frequently deal with a large volume of images that need to be sorted and stored, DxO may not be the best tool, but when the ultimate image quality of each photo is the goal, this is the tool I want.
Wow, this is an amazing application. I have been looking for a fast local search tool that provides live previews and FoxTrot does the trick.
I often have to search thousands of pages of developer references to find answers and this is the only search program I have found that is worth keeping open on my desktop.

Stability is good and gameplay seems solid. Price is perfect!

Great idea, but so far my results have been pretty poor.
Would love to see it work, and would certainly buy it, but right now it is long way from prime time.

Stable and easy to use, with good support and excellent documentation.
I've used both Photomatix Pro and Photoshop CS3 for HDRI and Photomatix is far superior to the CS3 implementation.

Smooth game play, lots of levels, and great graphics.
Even the demo gives you a lot of play before you have to decide if you want to buy.
