As for this port itself, it performs well. The graphics are rather pixelated, there are no preferences (the menu option is grayed out), and launching the game tosses you straight into the first 'battle'. Searching through the menu options does not temporarily pause the game either.
The left and right arrow keys move your piece. The , and . keys rotate it. The down arrow key throws it down faster. The space bar and return keys pause the game.
If the default rotate keys could either be moved to the z and x keys for those that play the game with two hands on the keyboard (or put in an interface that allows us to change it and remembers that), that would be great. The hands can get mighty cramped otherwise.
Good little application, but I wish they fixed the issue with vertical text (That is, taking a long segment of text and rotating it 90°). It gets cut off!
Apple Menu -> About This Mac -> More Info... -> System Profiler -> Software -> Applications -> ...(wait a few moments while it chugs)... -> Kind (a category) -> scroll down to ~the middle of the window, until you see the Kind being PowerPC, all grouped together. These are the applications that will not run on Lion.
Appsolete is an easier, prettier (and equally free) way to get at this information.
Had a need the other day to remove x-many #s from the front of several handfuls of files amid a folder of hundreds. Sorted in Finder to stick the numbered files up top. Selected those, dragged onto the application. Tweaked the manipulation until the preview showed what I wanted. Let it run: perfect result.
After 'caching fonts...' for awhile, it states that "Gimp-2.2 has unexpectedly quit". I've heard that this has to do with Leopard's new X11 implementation, to which a solution is posted at:

I must be mucking something up though, since it still gives me the same error afterwords.

Nothing happens when I try to drag files or folders onto the application icon, its open window, or the dock item.
The only thing I can do is click on the brightly-colored Quit button.
