Toycamera AnalogColor

Aaanouel reviewed on 25 Nov 2011
Ridiculous image size, no zoom, no view options, no detail control, crops photos to 1:1...
Absolutely useless for photo processing in anyway, not even as a toy.
Do not buy it, it doesn't worths a tenth of its price.

SetEXIFData

Excellent.
It wasn't compatible with FileVault.
Marc (developer) selflessly helped me to solve it, so please DONATE. He deserves it.

I like it a lot.

My only suggestion is to fade between changing images when updating them for no having the socking flash each time it's updated.

Congratulations and thanks a lot.

EarthDesk
aaanouel commented on 07 Jun 2009
Too heavy...
My 4Mgb RAM used more than 50% on it.
So I got rid of it.

After the reply received, I reviewed again the RAM it uses in my iMac and it (Earth Desk engine) takes between 85Mg and 155Mg when working.
May be it's not a lot or it's normal for an application like this, but it seems to me to be too much to be used only on my desktop.

Right now EarthEngine has reached 170Mg of my RAM.

But to be fair, let me tell everybody that EarthDesk is really beautiful and ilustrative, renderings are great and it has a lot of features like Center Location, Zoom, and many different earth projections to fit to all needs and preferences, so finally my vote is very possitive. Only one suggestion: Please try to reduce RAM requirements.

VirusBarrier X6
aaanouel commented on 18 Nov 2008
A NIGHTMARE TO ME...
I downloaded it, tried to install it, so, I had to restart, Login, and... SURPRISE...!!!!!!!!!
My iMac totally froze at Login...!!!!!!!! I had to shut down with the back power button, again, again and again... NO WAY to Login... TERROR runs through my veins...!!!!!!

Finally, I tried and got to Login "AS A GUEST..."
With Safari, downloaded "ViruBarrier.dmg" again, run the Installer and choose Uninstall...

Then I Restarted my iMac, Logged in and it finally worked. Thanks God...!!!
Now I have my iMac back, without VirusBarrier, as new.
I had awoken from the nightmare...

Re-thinking on the matter... more than a Pref pane, the real vocation of this cute software is to be a Menu bar application. Notice me as soon as it happens.

Beautiful...!!!!! Really beautiful...!!!

May be useless for someone, but for me is an amazing way to keep my cursor well located in an attractive and animated way that adorns my desktop.

I don't know how much CPU does it uses, but to prevent any overwork or eventual slowness I just minimized numbers and sizes, this way it don't distract your attention too much either.

GIOFX people: You should make a dedicated Preference Pane to incorporate it to the system itself.

Congratulations...!!!
And thanks a lot...

VERY GOOD...!!!
Just EXCELLENT...!!!!!!!!!!

Nothing more difficult than to choose colors: This is the right tool even to color experienced gurus.

You don't have to be a XSensitive Artist

For managing and choosing colors in harmonics, coherent and easy ways. The whole gradation of ALL colors from white to black in a unique color sphere.

I'm an Architect, a Graphics Designer and a Painter and I just love it...!!!!

Word Counter Widget
aaanouel commented on 11 May 2008
It's useful when you want to post a comment or opinion with limited character length, for example BBC Website. I particularly don't need it for any other thing.

For that it works very well. I'd prefer it to count directly from clipboard or just on selected text on the applications, but it's OK for me.

Thanks.
