This app just keeps getting better and better. I have replaced another app or two or three with this one. Perhaps in the future I can replace a few more.
I just got caught up in the non-disclosure bit. I had used this app as recently as two days ago with no update window appearing. Today - - one appeared - - and since it only said "bug fixes" - - I thought "Why not?" Now I have nag windows everywhere. I am *not* adverse to helping developers with beneficial apps, and have done so many time. The price for this app is not in question here. It is the tactic. After visiting the web site and finding no 3.5.5 version still available, I hoped I had kept an earlier dmg. Sadly - - I didn't.
With close to 32000 downloads - - losing just one more won't make any difference to the developer. I would have gladly paid your four dollars if you had been open about what was involved. I hope your maneuver was - - and is - - worth it. I have found a replacement app. I guess openness and honesty is a big deal to me.
You can dismiss this comment if you wish - - as you have others. It would be nice if you at least offered the old version on your site so you gave people the choice of that. I could have agreed to that - - and probably bought the update.
I have yet to find any app that rips every title every time. This app holds its own against other more expensive apps. When it works - - it works. When it doesn't - - try something else. Ripper apps are often included in the Promo packages or discounts are often available. This app has ripped some DVD's when others could not.
This little app is becoming my image viewer of choice. It is not so overwhelming as iPhoto yet is certainly not so barren and the more basic apps. It's got some great features that set it apart from many of the others. The "Move To... " feature can assist in sorting thru a folder full of images in a hurry. There are other features not so readily apparent that would be beneficial to many. The develops seems to be quick and responsive - - and looks to be intent on making a good, workable browser. Give this one a look.
