It's all come together in Aperture 3.1. Speed, quality and features. There is very, very little that Ap can't do now, and it does it quickly. Exports, zooms, previews, adjustments, straightening, blur, everything gets a much needed boost in 3.1. Most of the quirks and bugs have been squashed, in both workflow and editing ... I cant see any reason not to recommend Aperture 3.1.
All working as expected. A great start for a 1.0 on a new platform, the potential for this to improve gaming on the Mac is wonderful. There are some minor issues, as detailed in some on the reviews below, but I don't think that is any reason not to give this a high rating (given that it is a 1.0 product on a new platform). I have multiple games in Steam on Windows, can't wait for them to be (hopefully) ported!
If the games appear as suggested, then I no longer have a reason to boot Windows - that is worth 5 stars to me.
Awesome. Saved me at least a full day rearranging 7 years of photos from multiple folders into a single structure with exactly the naming and date organization needed to move to a new workflow. Faultless so far.
Very stable and fast, with great quality results. 5.0.1 has fixed some of the dot nought bugs, and 5.1 isn't too far away which should bring it back all of the features from Bibble 4 Pro that didn't yet make it in the rewritten upgrade.
A value for money alternative to Lightroom that covers almost all the ground that LR3 Beta does. It's a little quirky in terms of the interface, but there's a lot of power under the hood. Good camera and lens support, and quick updates when there are new cameras and lenses. Also a strong and helpful community, and quite a few third party plugins.
Allows for great workflow with non-destructive editing straight from RAW, unlike Aperture.
