Absolutely not!

If you peruse the User Forum at yummysoftware.com you'll see that a 1.7.3 update is imminent (on my return from vacation, in fact) and a 1.8 feature and enhancement upgrade is to be released shortly after. On top of that, development is already underway for version 2.0

Rest assured, I will never abandon my customers or my software :)

LRKIRSCH : Just some points...

1. All of the free apps offered at Mac App A Day cannot be upgraded for free. Yummy FTP is no different.

2. Mac App A Day users who wish to upgrade to version 1.5.3 of Yummy FTP and receive free updates in the future can do so using the MAADUPGRADE coupon code. This will give a $15 discount, yes FIFTEEN, not $10 as you stated

3. Version 1.5.3 includes a number of important bug fixes. Just from this point of view alone it is an essential update, but at the reduced price of $10 it is an absolute bargain!

It has come to light that since the turn of the year, an issue has arisen which results in server dates appearing ahead of time. This stems from a change of default settings in v.1.1.5.

In the interim while a permanent fix is being prepared, please enable the check box named 'Validate suspect datestamps' in the Server Options tab of the Preferences, and this will remedy the problem.
