So far this software is the only thing that works with a Nikon LS 2000 Short of rebooting in OS 9. I am using as Older Mac G4 with a OS X.4.10 with a Dual 1.3Gig processor in it. For those who complain about SCSI in OS X.4 there is a simple solution. Adaptec SCSI cards stopped working natively in OS X.2 but with a little work they can work perfectly in OS X.4 You need to remove a couple adaptec extension files in your root library. Once these too files are removed the SCSI card works fine. I use the card to run a old Jazz Drive and now a Nikon LS 2000. despite the shortfalls on the software - VueScan works allot nicer and easier then the original Nikon Software. Even in the standard setup I could not have scanned over 500 slides in a weekend without it. It is well worth the small fee especially for a hight end slide scanner
