Quicksilver

So I downloaded the latest version and I'm glad you brought back the ability to disable preview of files. By the way, disabling them doesn't only benefit the performance but also makes the icons of preference panes bigger and not "locked inside a box". Maybe you should make that possible also with previews enabled.

Speaking of preference panes, this version introduced a new problem with them... with earlier versions, I could find them not only by their English names (which is of course the name they have in the Finder) but also by their names they have in System preferences, which happens to be in another language. I deleted both the Application Support/Quicksilver folder and the preference files but that didn't help. Hopefully there is a fix for this problem.

Love this program. Got much faster with 3.0 too.

One thing I would like to see is a more hi-res prefpane icon, I hope that is being worked on (you can notice the low resolution of the icon when accessing it from 3rd party applications like Quicksilver).

Great program. Tried do backup manually to Amazon S3 using FTP clients such as Transmit and Flow. Found out it wasn't a good idea. Amazon S3 is not really aimed at consumers. So I found Arq and it takes care of all the Amazon S3 stuff so I don't have to think about it.

Really easy to use also. Just add a folder and it is send to the magic cloud. Hasn't crashed or anything.

The competitors offers "unlimited" online backup for a small fee, I do not really trust them. I hope I can trust Arq the day my computer and local backups get stolen or burn up.

PS. Nice icon :)

I was reading this

http://www.theverge.com/2012/1/25/2731535/ubuntu-hud-12-04-menu

and I thought, I've used Quicksilver and the UI Access plugin since 2009, and already then the plugin was three years old I think...
