Never liked BookDog, frankly, but this seems much better. Only a couple of days using it so far, but as a long-suffering Bookit user, this may be the answer I've been looking for. First thoughts:
Would love to have the menu option available without having the full app running on the dock and files open, though the auto-minimize is a nice touch.
The file interface is a bit clunky. Would prefer if the bookmarks looked more like a Mac file structure.
A bit more customization on the menu bar options would be nice.
The icon needs some work.
And a bit pricey. I'm still using the Demo and will have to really learn to love it to spend $23.
I'm rounding up my rating, giving it 4 stars, but it's more like 3-1/2.
The devs keep saying it's coming soon. The latest such claim was January here in these very comments. Now it is late March. We all have busy lives, but it's been nearly 2 years since the last update.
Really loving this little app. But the latest update that removed the misplaced menubar repeatedly crashed my Finder and drastically slowed the startup on my machine. Using 10.6.4 on a 3 Ghz iMac. So I've disabled it but am eager to get it back up and running. Thanks.

Paying customers still waiting. :-(
