This would be complete if it could also change your login screen background. For those who have tried v2.0, does the app only do tiled images or can you use one full screen image?
The developer has changed the licensing terms since this software first came out. When I purchased this in 2008, the licensing terms stated:
"id-design grants to you the non-exclusive, limited right to install and use the id-design software program downloaded or contained on the CD-ROM or disk (the "Software"). The license permits installation on any number of computers for any number of users, provided it is distributed in its original, unmodified form."
I am a single user with 5 Macs (some fairly old, but still running). I use this program MAYBE once a month on one computer. However, one of the recent updates changed the licensing terms so that it is limited to ONE USER and TWO COMPUTERS. I know get a warning every time I use this because I originally activated on all five of my computers. This also suggests this software is calling back to the developer every time it is launched.
Can someone tell me why if you purchased the program it has an expiration date? The latest beta expired today 11/1/2009. As a result the program does not even launch and I cannot access my lists. No update has been posted, although I hope the developer catches the mistake soon. However, at present, I cannot access my data using a program I paid for.
I did contact the developer. The beta stopped functioning 11/1 (the expiration date), but it has been working again since 11/2. Apparently the expiration does not function as expected? I'm still not sure why a purchased program (even in beta) should expire. At least (for now) I can access my lists again.

Look elsewhere like others have suggested.
