I like this: best enhancement I've found so far for the two-monitor user. And unlike like most screen-productivity apps, which typically promise much, look smart, wow you with a couple of snazzy tricks, then crash and burn taking the OS and a couple of hours of your time with them,
THIS ONE ACTUALLY WORKS.
MenuEverywhere follows your windows around like a faithful spaniel - a little slow off the mark but never far behind and just where it's supposed to be when you need it. And so far it hasn't crashed or misbehaved once.
It could be prettier, I guess, and like everyone else I'd like the second-screen top menu bar (promised by BinaryBakery - I'd like a second screen dock, too, of course - but then, I'd like my iPhone 4 to have the same network coverage as the cheapest Nokia - a man can dream!).
Takes a day or two to get used to and adjust to your liking, but worth the persistence. Very good value, very handy.
Might be interesting - if it worked. As soon as I entered a new project, it repeatedly logjammed the CPU on re-opening and has failed to turn up for work since - and all I did was try it out with a simple one-stop project with an iCal link and references to a couple of emails. Guess I can uninstall and try again but - what the hell: if this is making my life easier, I'll stick to slate and chalk.
Did nothing but crash, including when installing its own updates. About as stable as a psychotic with a quart of Jack Daniels, an Uzi and a self-righteous nature. A lot of money for a lot of time wasted.
