I know this is forked from CocoaMysql but it is so stable, usable, and fast that it is almost unrecognizable. I do not like to exaggerate things, but Sequel Pro kicks CocoaMySQL's butt. And then Sequel Pro goes to CocoaMySQL's home and seduces CocoaMySQL's mother, and then posts pictures of their first date on Facebook, and then friends all of CocoaMySQL's friends so the humiliation is complete.
In one tight small package you get super-fast importing/exporting. The latest (unsupported) build of Cocoa Mysql always freezes when I try that. I tried printing and got something completely attractive and useful (alternating rows highlighted, the selection query at the top of the page, etc). Tabbing from field to field in edit mode -- when you finish a record, you are brought to the next record--you can edit multiple records without your fingers leaving the keyboard. I can't say enough good things about this app, especially after trying all the other dodgy, sketchy, janky rdbm clients out there. This is a weird thing to say, but muddling around in a MySQL database is now FUN, because it's just you and the data, and there's no fighting with the client app.
Perfect! Simple, fast, offers all kinds of scaling options. I have dug through so many thumbnailer utilities and programs that finally finding this one feels like a reward.
