This has to be my new favorite app. I've needed this for awhile. It's very quick and looks beautiful next to all of my Cocoa apps. Highly recommended.

This is pretty neat, but give the thing a contextual menu (control-click) with options like Preferences, Quit, disabling a plugin right from there, etc, and make it less of a proc hog.

This app is great. It's very useful for me for ripping DVDs and making movies look widescreen on my Cinema Display.

MPEG encoding is a very slow process. It's taking video in a highly compressed form, breaking it down to its elements as video, and then reencoding it back up to a different standard. It's very slow, esepcially when ripping a 2 hour movie.
