Just received the reply to my bug report about Markdown from the developer - Michael (MOApp). Nice response to a submission - his reply starts with the following:
Quote start:
When being a "smart blip" you should at least now what you are talking about!
There is NO explicit Markdown to HTML export!
not on any feature list, not in any description or in real...
Quote end - but the developer's rant goes on. I had to replace the three-letter profanity to "blip" as MacUpdate would not allow to publish the review.
Even if the misleading interface, well, mislead me, it is not appropriate to call a customer names. And have "create.live.love" proclaimed on the web site.
Examples in my previous comment got eaten by the MacUpdate's interface, so here is the link to the text file:
Not well thought-through firewall application. Messages are useless and information provided to make decisions is completely inadequate: http://didenko.com/files/091014_intego.png . Limited configurability - no way to allow/blok outgoing connections by destination domain/ip range (to prevent calls home, but leave other functionality intact).

Just to set the record - here is the interface:

Also, while I spent the time to replicate the behavior, myTexts crashed twice on OSX 10.6.4 - hence the stability rating

Test header
Test sub-header
exports into something with this:
.......
Test header
Test sub-header
While it should generate something like this:
.......
Test header
Test sub-header
And yet markdown is a marketed feature. Do not buy it for markdown authoring until this bug is fixed.
