We have had nothing but problems with WebSTAR V.4. The WSWebstarPrefs.xml file corrupts easily - about 1 out of every 8 connections via the admin client. Today, the server has been down for 4 hours, after I added a new SSL config. Our prefs file is huge, and rebuilding it takes hours. We have moved 95% of our clients to Apache. The remaining sites are on their way. I'll never look back. WebSTAR V has been a nightmare. Like others, I find the "support" from 4D to be nonexistent, and in fact we have one ticket that they never even resolved for us -- and that was with a PAID 12-month service contract!

Do yourself a huge favor and take on Apache with iTools for configuration. If only I had known that 3 years ago...
