It's a cool program, I can hide all the stuff I don't want others to see, but I got a huge problem with it... I hid a folder, then my accident i deleted the program, and now... I can't find my folder! not even reinstalling the program!

I tried Typist first and I love the fact that it actually gives you lessons, it tells you which fingers you should use on the keyboard, but I had to change the settings of my keyboard into USA English (I use ISO Spanish) and it was complicated. aTypeTrainer4Mac is great, I didn't have to configure anything, it worked initially in ISO Spanish by default and it allows you to import text files to practice, BUT... It doesn't "Give you lessons", or I haven't found the function, I really need to be told in detail how to use my fingers.

I just downloaded it and ran it and I'm pretty exited. I haven't learn to type yet LOL, but I was able to type a few words without seeing the keyboard, I'm sure it would help a lot wit some practice.

Apple iChat

iChat is the best only if you live in the USA where everybody has AIM, out of the States, in Europe and the rest of the American Continent, the most popular IM server in the world is MSN. You can get iChat to work with MSN, but it's simply pointless coz it's good for NADA. No file transfers, no audio/video conference, you can't even see the display picture of your contacts. Definitely not good at all if you have ppl from all over the world in your IM program.

Mercury Messenger

I have Snow Leopard and Adium is being a bitch, doesn't let me add some contacts Some friends do get my messages but can't reply. Trillian is THE SAME. This program works very well, no crash and it's very effective, but the inter phase is VERY UGLY if you're used to Adium, you will think it is very old fashion PC. And it doesn't combine your contacts from different accounts, it opens several acccounts but separate the contacts by tabs, not nice if you wanna keep an eye on all of them at the same time.

Adium

Does Adium have a problem with Snow Leopard?? I was very happy with it when I had my powerbook (G4), but I just bought a MacBook Pro (Snow Leopard) and it became a real pain, I can't add contacts. It's aggravating.
