FREE brings the rating, despite lack of some features, right up to the top of my email client list! Always liked Mailsmith, never wanted to pay that much for any email client.
I purchased Ecoute for a pittance... I think it is more than worth it. I enjoy the layout and controls. Worth the $ to me. At this point I have nothing negative to say about it.
SweetMail still works fine with POP. A trick I have used is to map MailServe to my various accounts and create a one-stop mail clearing house. SweetMail can talk directly to a local storage point on your machine. Works great!
This is looking good. Improvements where they matter. When do you think you will tackle the ultimate: book marking? :) Seriously tho'. This is a very interesting project.
This is a great little, unobtrusive app for iTunes. The only problem is, of course, that iTunes has to run to play music... I wish Apple would disconnect the music playing code from the UI code and track management code.
Understanding this is a TECHNOLOGY PREVIEW I found it to be very interesting. While you claim your solution to having each tab be a separate process is likely not as complex an implementation as Google's, it is great that you could toss something like this together in short order.
Works as advertised. Won't woo me from OmniWeb just yet, but it has potential. ;)
I am giving a high rating because this is NOT just another webkit test program tossed together in 15 minutes - and because it does what you claim it will do, nothing more, nothing less.
Mostly works as advertised. Installed and (for the most part) runs fine on my Intel iMac, OS X 10.5.6.
I did find that the "Find Duplicates" does not find all duplicates. Some but not all. I fiddled around with the options a few times.
Also, I have a few HUGE mailboxes I am exporting into files. The smaller boxes go great, the larger one came back with a "TIMED OUT" message about 600 messages into the export. I am trying it again to see if it succeeds this time or not.
Just to bring this up front from the replies in my previous post:

Are you serious? Or is this a cruel joke? I would be SO HAPPY if you really are doing this!! :D I would use it over Apple Mail and GyazMail (as well as Thunderbird) any day!

Something I encountered with both Letterbox and WideMail was that resizing the message pane was very, very fickle. If I stretched the window beyond a certain size it would automatically make the message pane very wide (and messages do not get very wide) and I could not resize it to make it smaller. I could make it even LARGER, but not smaller. That was a little frustrating.
But seeing how BOTH bundles did it, I am guessing it is some sort of very odd behavior of Mac OS X.
This just does not work for me. Mac OS X 10.5.2 on an Intel iMac. I load my mailboxes with messages, start this thing up (set to check server) click on update... nothing. I try off-and-on for 5 minutes, nothing. I start mail... loads all the messages that this app should have told me were there to be read.
Doesn't work. The application does, but when I create an account on labs.zap2it.com, the account creation in general succeeds, but when it tries to redirect to the setup page it fails. I cannot go back and log in either (same thing happens, login seems to work but tries to redirect to a configuration page and fails.)

It appears that if your list of files is larger than the window, if you move your mouse above (or below) the window it acts as tho' you are hovering over your files (as if they were not scrolled out of the active port).

It could be a bad build? When I reinstalled from an older version it required my password. This installer did not.
