Not a good sign. First website I tried to open (after Google splash page) was apple.com and it errored out trying to open it. Had to hit refresh twice to get it to open whilst Safari had no problem. Maybe G is ticked off at Apple for the patent lawsuit?!
Downloaded and tried out the trial. I wanted/needed to compare two DDS graphic files I had, which were displaying differently on another device, to see what the discrepancies were.
First, the UI looked a little busy. I just wanted to open a file and see the details. And what were the Checkup Presets for? Confusing.
Second, got a spinning beachball for about a minute and then a dialog box popped up asking me Where is iMagine Photo.app? Huh?? Don't have that on my drive.
Third, MUSI, I'm assuming you're the developer after giving this app such a glowing review...maybe after fixing these and adding in support for DDS files, I'll raise my rating above one star.
Hmmm, first off, I always find it suspicious when there's so many good reviews and they promote features. You think the dev came up with a program to create user names for him?
I downloaded this app and have to say it's kinda lacking. I guess it's a plus that they combine the two steps of adding to iTunes and meta tagging into one step. At $20 I'd expect it to at least tag the movie rating and it'd be nice for it to display movie poster size (so you know the quality of art (important for your AppleTV)) and it'd also be nice if it could tag actors, directors, producers and chapters like some free apps do (like MetaX). And while MetaX may have some kinks/bugs before I declare it the ultimate tool it too combines the two steps into one (tagging and importing) and like I said...it's free.
