This program is evil, I have been paid twice now by unsuspecting clients that installed it on their Macs only to have it make a giant mess of their Macs that were running fine before this program got installed.
In both cases system was glacially slow, no connection to internet and I was forced to take machines back to my office. After researching the experiences of others I downloaded the uninstall script and removed it, problems resolved and the Macs once again were running fine.
This program should be banned, it is useless and causes more damage than good.
So they are having minor problems adjusting to new changes from Apple, they are working hard and making progress day by day. To all the whiners life in the computer world is far from perfect and only those ignorant of the difficulties can make statements like "they really botched it".
Apple does not make it easy for third party vendors and I for one consider 1dPassword to be the single most useful timesaving application on my Mac. Frankly I consider it more important than Lion at this juncture and if it came down to it would stick with SnowLeopard if forced to make a choice. I am confident that the 1Pass crew will sort the issues and have it all running smooth in short order. I would also note that the very tone and number of complaints is suggestive of how important this application is to many folks. Just be patient and understand they are doing their level best to get through all the new issues that were created by Apple, they are merely reacting to the changes and doing a far better job than much larger companies such as Adobe?

I am a professional dual platform computer consultant equally comfortable in the Mac and PC world for the past 15 years and now semi retired. I dislike change as much as the next person and it seems Apple is becoming more like the PC world where change is just a given and things seldom stand still long enough to become comfortable with a given interface.
The difficulties with 1Password have been a royal PITA for me as well but I am adjusting and they have already resolved a big portion of the problems I had with high RAM and CPU by Safari 5.1 whenever 1Password extension was enabled.
Remember this is a small outfit that has worked diligently for years to keep their product on the cutting edge, this is not a giant outfit like Adobe (who by the way is much worse at keeping up with Apple). My point is don't be unreasonable, and don't blame 1Password for the changes made necessary by Apple, it is just a part of the ever changing landscape of computer software these days. Now Apple is pushing us all in the direction of the cloud and changing our beloved OS to mimic the IOS of the iPhone and Ipads. I for one think that the crew at 1password are doing an excellent job and their level best to keep abreast of the tide of change wrought by Apple.
100% impressed with this new version, finally it is equal to the PC version if not better. Of course our computers now have the needed horsepower which also helps. Has substantial learning curve but then that is to be expected. After one week of sporadic use it is already deadly accurate seldom missing if I take the trouble to speak clearly. It is also a great time saver for although I am a touch typist, I have never been particularly fast on the keyboard, while with this software I can speak at normal speed and it faithfully follows along doing its job almost flawlessly. I am sure as time goes on and my skills improve this is going to be essential to my work.
Excellent software, active developer, and superb support, these guys have it all. In addition the product will save a great amount of time and frustration in managing passwords and profiles to use filling out web pages. In the Mac tradition it fills a need with grace and elegance.
