I bought Quicken Essential but dearly missed Quicken 2007, so when it came out today I gladly bought the update, converted all my data back to 2007 and opened it. Now, all of a sudden I realize I actually like Quicken Essentials better. I am sure others will disagree. I do not regret buying the 2007 update since it will allow me to open old files that I had archived but I think I am going to stay with Quicken Essentials.
My hope is that a new version of Quicken Essentials will be released that has the best features of 2007 built into it.
Accordance is the premier Bible software for the Mac (and iOS as well). The software keeps just getting better. Fast, efficient, and extremely versatile. To access the power of the application does require a learning curve, but this is professional grade software. The "Lighting The Lamp" podcasts are very helpful in learning the application's capabilities. I cannot imagine doing Bible study without it.
I have been a OLB user for many years and appreciate it quick and fast capabilities. Recently also purchased Accordance. There is a place for both programs. For quick searches and a wealth of somewhat older material you cannot beat OLB. The "Copy Verses" feature far exceeds everyone else's implementation. For original language searches, more current resources Accordance beats any Bible study software on any platform. I am thankful for both.
