Editors note says that v0.9.9 is currently available for Intel only. Yet, when you click on 'More Information' it reads 'VLC media player 0.9.9 - Download Now for Mac OS X PowerPC (18 MB) ...and the download yields v0.9.8!!!

Apple iOS

I attempted to update my iPhone 3G S through iTunes (and noting that under Version it clearly says 'A newer version of the iPhone software is available (version 4.2). To update your phone with the latest software, click Update.'

However, when I click Update I get a dialogue that says 'This version of iTunes (9.2.1) is the current version.' Solution / suggestions most welcome.

I;m running OS X 10.4.11 on a PowerBook G4. Will iTune work with this or will I need to upgrade my laptop?

This is a fabulous app. However, the latest update (v1.2.2) is not OS X 10.4 compatible as stated under 'System requirements'!!

I just replaced my existing version of Sponge with v1.4.0 only to find that it does not work with Mac OS X 10.4 ...yet the requirements on MacUpdate clearly state '10.4 or later'. Now I've lost the version that DID work!!!

Just downloaded v2.1. Dialogue window asks if I want to replace the older version with the new ...I chose yes. Yet, when I check the Widgets folder (User/Library/Widgets) the new app is still v2!!, and when I run my Widget Update app it says that a new version (ie v2.1) is now available!!
