As one of the many long-time Eudora users who are completely happy with it but have begun looking at possible future alternatives for the time when Rosetta is no longer available, I allowed myself to be seduced by the stated intention of the developers of MailForge, to emulate Eudora in every way.
So I signed up and paid for it, only to discover that it basically doesn't work, doesn't offer anything like the easy functionality of Eudora, and after several updates is still nowhere near Eudora.
In fact to me, some of the other available email applications (Thunderbird, Postbox Express, and the "new" Eudora OSE are all better than MailForge at its current stage of development. and because they are basically all open-source, are improving at a far faster rate than MailForge.
I regret having paid for MailForge and have put it to one side as a curiosity. I'm still very productively using Eudora and still looking at what else is available. MailForge comes bottom of my "most likely to replace Eudora" list.
