I agree with the previous comments. I like this very much but it only improves speed. It is however quite addictive (unlike most education!) and if correct finger layout could in some way be incorporated with increased word complexity to test finger skills this would be a very useful programme. The voice audio is a little annoying and an option to turn it off would be nice. Move up a notch and create a serious product and you are onto a winner.
I remember this saver from many years back on my G4 laptop till it died. Like coming across an old friend. I'm an Intel boy know, so keep us posted on the update.
Well I've tried your solution Diskrod but it is still not working for me and would add that such a torturious process hardly suggests a 'working solution'. The developer tells me they are working on an Intel version, though they also say Audacity should still work under Rosetta. Alas, that is not my experience. Still a top programme mind, I just wish it worked with my new machine!
Come on Griffin, you gotta do better than this. It looks great but it's a mess to use. Trying to set 'in' and 'out' points for edits on the fly like that is a joke and one could do with a tighter zoom to deal with tracks that run into one another. It 'feels' kind of odd to use as well as you don't get much feedback for pushing all them buttons. Shame really, because I like the look of it. I know you've stated it isn't a 'real' editor but whats the point if you can't edit properly with it?
I've just come back to this page after using Sofa for a year to look for any updates as it has continued to serve me well all this time. I am very sorry to hear that Cedric has passed away. I emailed him a couple of times and always received generous support. I suggested he should be pricing Sofa but it was evidently not his style. Sofa remains my player of choice and now at the very least he lives on through my desktop.
