Google has to try to do everything that everyone else does, but they do it all half-a$$ed. Their search is great - they should stick with that. Stop doing all this cloud, docs, photos, Android, whatever stuff, because they are just NOT good at it until they start hiring better programmers.
When I go to save a document, all of the folders in the dialog box are grayed out. I can't select a folder I want to save a Bill Engine file into. This is the only program that does this.
Invoice templates are difficult to create/edit.
Doesn't integrate well with Money.
UI elements are in strange locations. For example, adding a project button and other major action buttons are way down in the bottom right corner of the window. They should be at the top of the window. Too much moving of the mouse.
Also does not link to Address Book. Could be a nice app. I hope they release a MAJOR update without charging their customers that already bought it.
Thanks. I actually tried searching for "Google Chrome icon" and "What does the Google Chrome icon mean", but I just get a list of useless links about it that don't explain anything. It kind of looks like the Simple Simon game from the 80's. It's clear to see that Safari is a compass and FireFox is a fiery fox and Opera is an O, but I have no idea what Chrome is.
I used this software back in the 90s. It was quite good. It is hard not to think that it has grown somewhat stagnant. I mean, the website still has the same look that it did in the 90s. I would've expected an interface re-think by the time Photoshop 5 came out.
If you're going to spend this much for a plugin, might as well get a full app like ArtText, which has a nice interface and better presets. Faming Pear really needs to come up with some new software.
This app has some nice features. It's fast and seems stable. The thing that I need the most that is missing from this app is alignment of points. I can't select a bunch of points and align them. I have to drag one point at a time. In fact, selecting things in general is hard.
It seems like there should be a selection tool and it should allow me to drag and select points rather than shapes. Maybe there could be a modifier key to hold down to do that?
Another thing is I want my inspector visible all the time. Perhaps that could be an option as well? I don't want to have to bring it up on a per shape basis.
Adobe, you do not have a clue what you are doing. You already had Adobe Muse years ago. You bought a little company called GoLive, remember? They made something called GoLive Cyberstudio and it was awesome. Then you bought it and ruined it, just like you've ruined every Macromedia product as well.
GoLive did almost everything that Muse can do, and that was several years ago. What is the point, really?
Coders are making sites with Coda and TextMate and Eclipse, and using CMSs. A web development firm isn't going to hire someone that can use Muse to build a site. They will hire someone that knows how to code. And if you are only going to use Muse to build a personal site or two, then why would you pay a monthly/yearly subscription fee to do that?
This is a FAIL waiting to fail.
