Here's another (free) option. You could produce a video that people actually wanted to watch. You could promote that video on your blog in a way that compelled people to watch and share it.
Or, you could try cheating. That sometimes works too!
Or go to whatismyip.com in Safari for free. Sheesh. I knew the Mac App Store would turn in to a free for all of nearly useless apps begging for your .99 contribution. That's why I love my iPhone's inability to install non-Apple approved software.
VisualHub continues to be an amazingly useful and simple conversion app, but I was looking to replace it with something that pulls metadata from the internet to streamline my video conversion and importing workflow. This app 'technically' does the job but there was one issue I could not look past when using this app, and that's the most horrible non-Mac-like user interface ever. It's just painful to use, and there are many vague options and commands that only exist by control-clicking or other non-obvious methods. Do yourself a favor and check out the free app Video Monkey (among others) before pulling out the credit card for this clunker.
I love this little app. Very informative on those rare occasions that I want to see what is going on with file access.
A small bug... it won't run from a FileVault protected location but runs fine from the Applications folder.
Yay! I don't know how I survived without improved analytics!
Also, the 'ask before storing local information' preference brings up a dialog in youtube.com videos that cannot be clicked on making that preference completely useless.
Is it just me, or did moving from 2.0.0.2 to 2.0.0.3 break the right mouse button click functionality for everyone? I used to get a contextual menu but now it acts like a left click.

Also, given that you must know the recipient's cell phone carrier I assume this is just a simple front-end for emailing a text message.
