I downloaded this hoping that it would be a serviceable replacement for Super Mario Kart from back in the days of the SNES. It ran fine on my 2GHz MacBook with 2gb of RAM, no glitches, no slowing down, no problems at all.
In the end though I've uninstalled it due to the lack of motor sound when the buggy is going, I found it hard to feel interested when the buggy rumbled around the track in almost silence.
However, I did go and go and find a rom of Super Mario Kart which runs like a dream on my SNES emulator so I guess I have SuperTuxKart to thank for that!!
I use CrossOver on my MacBook and it's great. I paid for it as it successfully ran my drummachine of choice without any problems at all.
I tried it with Photoshop 7 and it had no problems at all.
This IS the way forward with running Windows apps on a Mac, why use all that precious HD space on an installation of Windows Taint when you can just put on the software you need?
This is great and will continue to develop in a positive way I feel.
