I was very happy to see this screensaver being resurrected after it stopped working on Snow Leopard. If you like the iTunes artwork screensaver or the '1000 covers animation' core animation demo, give this one a try (see this video http://www.spike.com/video/apple-ipod/2807738). Unfortunately the screensaver is no longer free, but not priced too high for me, but could be a bit cheaper.
Being a CD-collector, I really like this screensaver to show the artwork of my CD's. And that's also the only thing missing at the moment; The screensaver doesn't have an option to show artwork from iTunes. Fortunately, I've got all my CD covers stored as separate images as well (stored in CDPedia), so I can choose those.
Four stars for this missing feature. Furthermore...great!
I've been using MacPARdeluxe now for some years and it's become a must-have tool for me. Although I'm still using a Core Duo Processor (not 64-bit), I applaud the author for taking the time to make maximum use of Snow Leopard (64 bit AND grand central dispatch) - many developers haven't even -considered- doing this.
Recent versions have never crashed on me and, unlike other posters, I don't mind MPD to use a lot of processing power, after all, there's a lot of processing required to check if the downloaded files are ok.
MPD does the job and integration with Split & Concat makes checking and extracting downloads a one-click trick :)
I just got my Magic Mouse and installed MagicPrefs (1.4), and have a small problem with the middle-click functionality, in combination with Expose.
On a 'normal' mouse, click and HOLD the middle button for expose (all windows) will show all windows and -close- Expose once the middle button is released, switching to the window that the cursor is currently on.
MagicPrefs however, opens Expose on click-and-hold, but does not -close- Expose when releasing the middle-button.
I really hope the developer is able to fix this in a future update as this way of using expose is a big timesaver for me.
On closing; MagiPrefs works as advertised, looks good and can't be beat for the price :) Very much appreciated!
Commenting myself; I notice the big red 'TROUBLE' image next to my post (which is automatically added when choosing the 'troubleshooting' category during post).
Don't let this put anybody away from MagicPrefs!

Also, the current version is 3.0.13

Simple to use, more advanced features (requiring shortcuts etc) are available but NOT required for basic use.
I've tried some of the alternatives, but was overwhelmed by 'customization' features etc that I didn't need all the time.
Price is right, especially when bought on the App Store, as that gives 5 licenses for the price of one :)

The version on the Pixelmator website is still 1.6.6, which is probably the same version as the App Store version 1.6.7
