Maybe I need to find version 1.1. Same comment as the other 1.2 user... everything is dimmed, and even though I can type in the host and IP, nothing happens after I enter my password in the ensuing authentication box.
If you own a Nikon film scanner, you MUST get VueScan. It does everything better than NikonScan, and a whole lot more.
I have the LS4000 with a roll film adapter, and Ed Hamrick added features for those of us who scan odd-sized frames from Realist and other 35mm stereo cameras. Nikonscan crashes and burns when trying to even preview these film strips. Hats off to a developer who bothers to take the time to listen to users and build in features like this.
That alone was enough to make me buy, but then I discovered many additional features lacking in NikonScan, and to cap it off, my scans were superior than enything I ever got out of NikonScan. Ed Hamrick knows how to make your scanner sit up and listen!
