Apple Security Update

Whatever you do, DO NOT AGREE TO THIS SOFTWARE UPDATE! I did last week and boy, do I ever regret it. It messed up all of my SMARTboard files with .gifs. I couldn't open them or the program would crash. After hours of trying to figure out the solution, I restored my Mac with my Time Machine. Things are back to normal now. Wish I could give this a negative rating. Had to give it something to be able to post this comment!

Hi Smartboard Teacher,
I restored my MacBook Pro to its pre-update condition with the Time-machine. Have you set up a time-machine with an external hard drive?
