works great and has a lot of features for working with music files. developer was very responsive to fixing some minor bugs quickly.

interface is not the easiest. sometimes I have to search for the correct function even though I have already used it before. but that can be forgiven for the fact it has so many features.

serious bugs on some sites. unusable.

no way to cancel. if you have stepped away and have a video playing this takes control of the screen so you cannot see the video and you have to wait for the count down to finish.
there should be a way to cancel.

looks interesting, but there are several problems.

it will not allow you to skip the long intro story every time launched.
screen resolution will not change.

but missing a major feature, the preference to open articles in default browser instead of in the app.

my bad, Gruml does have a default browser option. it is not obvious. go to Prefs > Advanced > URL Handling.

What I like: keyboard commands and the smart lists.

what I dislike: sorting sucks (no way to not sort without headers, it waste too much space), notes access are a little clunky, more options to customize interface like turn off tabs (don't need them we have the side bar), cloud sync (give me a break, and paid? not only that but I would not trust the developer with him having access to my todo lists, (also apple provides free cloud now)

missing: collaborative or network share todo.
is dev going to do the separate iphone/ipad apps, probably since he only released a the iphone one. i think a universal app show the dev is considerate.

company: hard to trust a developer that took almost 3 years to get out of beta and sold to people like it was almost ready 3 years ago.

FileMaker Pro Advanced

As of 11.04 they still have not fixed all the major bugs.
Plus still not 64bit.
Layout design is still based on OS8 buttons and colors.

Filemaker is still playing the same game, don't add the features people have requested for years, add a feature that is trendy, add a feature only partially programable (charts cannot be fully dynamic) and take away a feature and call it an upgrade.

yes I tried 2.0.1 with a couple apps and it do not find the items, but a similar app did.

seems to cause Photoshop CS5.5 Save for web not to work. disabling SizeWell allows photoshop to work correctly. dev - any idea when this will be fixed?

Pomodoro

every other pomodoro freezes at 0:01 second. pomodoro must be force quit and it looses the Session Stats.

you have to go to the DEVs site to DL the Safari 3 version.

what is Keywurl running a backup of the keyword.plist every 2 minutes?
way overkill. maybe backup only on quit?
check your console log to see backup activity.

Fission

SW_tester had trouble on 07 Feb 2009

fission causes MDS process to use extremely high cpu (145%) when opening any file.
the only way to stop the high cpu is to close fission.

i have tried aiff and mp3 files with 1.52, 1.61 and 1.62.
i have an C2D 2.4Ghz processor with 4GB ram.

it would be nice if they would fix this problem.

great program. only one problem with v0.6.1
if you create AAC or ALAC files, they will not run on certain ipods and you can NOT share through iTunes over the network.

they play fine in iTunes, just no sharing.
it it not the fault of the developer, just the way iTunes handles the files. hopefully a fix will come soon.
