Apple Mac OS X
Supermacnerd commented on 15 Jun 2010
The upgrade went great until I opened up Apple Mail and it said it needed to be upgraded. In doing so the Growl Mail Plugin was disabled and now needs to be updated...bummer but just wanted to give people the heads up.

Does 1password work with this latest 5.0 version??? If not looks like the waiting game can't live without that.

I noticed this app takes up more memory then NNW and also more CPU but its 64bit as opposed to NNW. Still waiting for a stable release to see if I will make the switch but great program and clean interface

Great start here...I know your aware of the crash issue so I sent you the feedback accordingly. I would love to get the weather conditions option in the menubar as well. Growl support would be a plus as well.

If you they can add built in browser integration this would be a great product. I just have a hard time switching over from NNW without that feature. Otherwise user integration is great and with each release more problems solved!

Downloaded and tried installing and it would just hang on the splash screen. I know its a great app but my Intel Macbook Pro was having problems. I had to do a hard restart as my computer completely froze up. I tried it 3 times with the same result each time upon restart.

The speed difference is very noticeable. It takes a bit to get used to the new Tabs but overall stable and well worth a look. Cover flow and Top Sites is icing on the cake.

This is easily one of the best FTP browsers on the market not to mention its "FREE". Have not had any issues with the software and appreciate the consistent updates.

Apple Java for Mac OS X 10.6
Supermacnerd had trouble on 03 Dec 2009
I had the same issue when updating with my laptop and almost threw it out the window! I did figure out the fix which was to manually enter in my IP Address which for some reason was just a bunch of numbers and letters. Either way I manually set it back to what it should be then set my DHCP settings back to Auto and all seems to be back to normal. Needless to say it was about an hour of troubleshooting which makes you think twice about downloading these updates...
