Love it works flawlessly for me now for about 2 years. More info then you will need I have some of it turned off I mainly use it for CPU usage, Memory, and to watch my internet traffic. No problems so far.

GlimmerBlocker

Hey just switched from Safari AdBlocker because couldn't wait for a 10.7 Lion update so decided to try GlimmerBlocker. It works different then most ad blockers its a proxy i think?? and it is set in the system preferences. My first impressions are that it works well I tried 10 of my favourite sites and it blocked all of the ads just as well or better then my old ad blocker so am happy with this program.

Love this app bought it about 3 yrs ago. I have had no problems with this app also it seems to be working fine for me on Lion. I use it mainly to change the system icons but also have built up quit the iContainer collection 4000 + icons and it handles them with no problem.

VideoLAN and the VLC development team present VLC 1.1.11, a security release with some other improvements.
This release was necessary due to two security issues in the real and avi demuxers. It also contains improvements in the fullscreen mode of the Win32 mozilla plugin, the MacOSX Media Key handling and Auhal audio output as well as bug fixes in GUI, decoders and demuxers.

Works great been using it for about 2 years now. No problems lets me know of all out going connections. And has low RAM/CPU usages witch is important for background apps.

XBMC

Love it! Best way to get all my movies and tv shows all together with meta data and movie posters and so on. Setting it up for the first time is a little bit of a hassle but after that its pretty much all automated you just drag and drop your movies to a folder and XBMC will do the rest for you.

This program works for me and have been using it for a few yeas now and have had no problems with any of the versions. Macs might not get as many virus and trojans compared to PCs but they are out there and do get them occasionally... This program has found a trojan I had and some other DNS crap thing so it works well for me 5 Stars.
