After only a couple of weeks of using CP, I've purchased it. It has some shortcomings but it is, in my opinion, the best CRM/PIM product for Mac OS X. I recommend you try before you buy. Use it the full 30 day trial and see if it's great features outweigh any shortcomings for YOUR particular business purpose.
Overall, it's got a true Mac application feel and intuitive interface. It's not currently networkable (you can share events and tasks but not contacts)--there is no client/server version at this point.
Documentation is somewhat light and you'll need to utilize the support forums for some questions. Developers are pretty active on the forums, however. As of this writing, devs are coming out with 3.6 which will supposedly feature a "Day Board" and some shortcut keys to quickly add tasks and make it more GTD-friendly for helping to get those tasks "out of your head and somewhere safe" as David Allen would say.

Yes of course you can share contacts! My mistake. I meant that you cannot share communication history--which should resolve itself when a Contactizer server or something like that is developed.
Just spent 30 minutes with the widget. It works well as far as suggesting the correct art and imports is just fine. Nice compact widget size is appreciated.
Would be great if the widget would automatically "listen" to the currently playing track or album and pre-populate the search field with the name. Would make this process even simpler.
I needed the VOB video file from my wedding DVD to edit in iMovie. I dropped the VOB on Drop2DV and then it went into action. It's not a pretty interface (all the converting is done in the terminal) but the point is that is doesn't really NEED an interface so who really cares?
