Drivepulse sits there in your menubar and WILL NOT GO AWAY! Nothing I've tried gets it to, short of uninstalling. Which caused a crash, then a kp. Having to manually remove pieces left behind, deleting never to install again. Never got a chance to try out the defragging, but from what I've read, probably better off. Going back to TechTool, which seems to stink less.
Same problems as others with Snow Leopard and Windows XP, FAT32 or NTFS. Can't get it to restore to my 2.33GHz MacBook Pro's new hard drive. Weird, because it worked fine on my similarly configured Mac Pro. Dev says he's trying to fix it, but unable to replicate issue. Here's hoping they can get it fixed.
Too bad it doesn't work with Twisted Melon's Matra TR1 receiver. Been looking for a way to get rid of it's Mira software on my Mac Pro that never seems to work right and is crippled under Snow Leopard ($15 for nothing). I'll try it on my MacBook Pro though with it's built in IR.
