I recently updated the firmware in my time machine (to 7.4.1 I think), and now I can't connect. The airport on my MacBook spends all its time scanning but doesn't find my network; I can't even connect to the time machine by ethernet (I simply can't find a disk!) And now, I can't reset to factory (every time I start, the time machine tells me that there is a problem with the ethernet), and the ethernet link to the modem is now not operating.
Usually I am the biggest Mac fan, but this incident has really annoyed me. I may have to go out tomorrow, and get a basic airport express to act as a proxy until i can get the time machine issue addressed.
Has anyone else encountered anything like this?
