With the long-awaited addition of grouping plus several other new or improved features, an already great programme becomes superb. This must now be the page layout programme of choice.
As far as I can remember the developers have NEVER provided details to MacUpdate as to what is changed in each updated version. I find this unsatisfactory. How are we supposed to know if it is worth updating?
As a long-time user and fan of Lilypond I have only just discovered MuseScore. I must say that I am highly impressed. Although Lilypond produces high quality output I find that MuseScore is far easier to use and also produces excellent printed scores. Many things that are quite difficult to do in Lilypond (e.g. fitting a lead-sheet onto one page) are a cinch in MuseScore with its WYSIWYG interface. And the immediate playback of written scores is also a great feature. This is a superb programme which I would recommend to all who need to write out musical scores
Like all the BeLight software that I have this is excellent. The ability to see on my iPod the contents of my MacBook Pro and to be able to open on the iPod virtually any document type present on the MacBook is outstanding.
The previous version I tried had no "Quit" menu item - the current version has a non-functional "New..." menu item. Come on developer - please do more testing before release
This version looked more promising as a video upload seemed to go to completion. However during the completing upload process the following error message appeared:-
[Line 1, Column 585, element gphoto:timestamp] Text content must be non-negative: -2082844800000 (status 400)
Whatever this means, the result is that I still can't upload videos to my Picas web albums.
I am unable to upload .mp4 videos using the standalone Picas Web Albums Uploader. After around 1MB has uploaded the error message "An error prevented uploading from completing. Error NSURLErrorDomain -1" appears.
Using the iPhoto plug-in the Upload option is dimmed if I select an .mp4 video.
This is disappointing as I was hoping at last to be able to upload videos to my Picas Albums.
It is fast. But there is an annoying bug if you by mistake try to connect to the computer you are running the programme on - it seems to go into an unstoppable loop whereby it shows multiple copies of that machine's screen.
