As stated in the Apple streaming video, it's a minimum of 5 songs that it will take (unless you use the menu to Always See Artwork) to see the artwork for an album in the new view.
GarageBand can import MIDI files, then you can assign instruments to the tracks and save them as MP3 files if you want. Since GarageBand comes with all Macs, converting MIKI to MP# using GarageBand would be free.
Take the widget out of your home folder widget directory (~/Library/Widgets) and move it to the main computers widget directory (/Library/Widgets) and everyone should then be able to use the widget. This will work for any widget, by the way.
Sort of dumb program. The only thing it does is open search windows for the following web sites to search for what you type in: google, yahoo, bing, and flickr. The only thing I would use it for is if I didn't want to search every one of those sites one at a time. Other than that, it's pretty worthless.
Is this a set up or what? Come on! Supposedly 5 different people commented or reviewed it and every last one of them rated this program 5 stars? Give me a break! It's the phase of the moon in the menu bar. Just how many people even CARE what the phase of the moon even IS? And $12 dollars just for that? I don't think so. Someone is trying to convince everyone how nice this is and I personally wouldn't give a buck for it. It could be the best piece of software in the world but it's a dinky one trick pony and they want $12 just to see the moon's phase... Yeah, I wouldn't hold my breath on this big seller if I were you.
Looks good so far but it would be nice if it used all the processors instead of hitting just one of them. I do like the fact that it's also a 64 bit app. Great app considering it's free.
You're kidding, right? This software costs almost as much as a Mac and it only improves sound quality? I don't think so. I can buy a pretty top of the line brand of music amp for this price. I wouldn't be holding my breath if I were planning on making any money from this little adventure.
Well LEE123, the problem is that Microsoft has started to support Mac's with software they wrote until people became dependent on the software, then out of the blue, because they felt like it, they would stop supporting the Mac and then people were left high and dry. Internet Explorer being just ONE example. Why should I want ANY Microsoft software on my machine if I can't trust them to continue their development? The answer is, you can't. Ergo, I will never allow a MS software product on my Mac again. I don't care if it's the best thing since sliced bread. They've proven that they really don't care about the Mac community so why should I support their software? Answer= I don't and won't.
Just my 2 cents worth.
