Just a suggestion: if there's no way to manually change how often it checks, I think the default should be once a day at the very most. Forum builds aren't updated that often for it to be checking multiple times a day.
Very disappointing piece of software. While I like all of the options, I went passed my trial period, and now I get spammy messages popping up asking me to purchase. I don't even have the software running! This is Microsoft Windows type of spammy tactics.
again. even after I tried to uninstall with appzapper, my console is FLOODED every 10 seconds with messages that the mackeeper helper can't start! This software is CRAP.
I'm a bit hesitant about using this- is it like compressing drives in Windows where programs will start a bit slower because they have to decompress on the fly?
There's not enough information on the developer's website to make me feel confident about using this.
Love Dropbox, but can you please add Sparkle updating? It's pretty standard in most mac applications- kind of annoying to have to search here to see if there is an update.
Much improved, and very happy.. However, Applications should be able to be linked back to their iTunes store page- to get changelogs, add reviews, as well as info on the app in case you forget what it does!
Ugh.. When will Apple improve app management in iTunes? I have 400 apps, and to scroll through them all is extremely sluggish.. Also, apps should be treated like music with a drag and drop interface, rather than guessing the code name for the App in the checkbox screen. There should also be the ability to link the purchased app to the itunes store page, so you can see the description of it, as well as see the developer's updates and notes!
Careful about upgrading- I think I read somewhere that EyeTV is moving to the TV Guide format, which will be free for the first year (I think) then $20 a year thereafter!
I was really looking forward to this when there was hype about it a few months ago.. after download I was very disappointed. You can only "scratch" the preloaded beats that comes with the app, NOT your own music. and the scratching interface is very poor. It's more like a toy for a 5 year old.

I think if the cost was >$20 it would make more sense to purchase this version.
