Hi.
I added the following error message in the field of troubleshooting, but I have the feeling that this rubric not really in front of the most visitors. Therefore I replay my message here:

[ I'm using FS 4.0.4 under 10.6.7 to made an exact sync between two external disk drives (FAT32) and therefor I 've notice the following error entry in the log file: FS doesn't sync files if they are bigger then 4 GB or greater!
I hope the developer could help as soon as possible, because I think it is a bug in version 4, isnt' it?!? ]

Otherwise the program is a great utility and I use it for years.
Additionally the contact possibilities should been better. Unfortunately I found no hints to contact the developer direct by e-mail.....

Update to my request.

I contact the support of Softobe, they answer really quickly and so we could find out the basic problem, why I can't copy files greater then 4 GB?! The answer is quit simple – both of my volumes are formated as FAT32 - and this format doesn't support files greater then 4GB. My intention to write this additional information is to point it out, that FS has no dept therefor. Sorry, I believe this at first.

But hey, I think it was time to switch to another standard cross-plattform format for disk - the file limits of 4GB are not state of the art today! What a shame!
Every manufacturer of usb flash drives should switch to an other disk format, as soon as possible. This behavior is really unbelievable for me as a Mac user, who had to use FAT32 only for compatibility.

Voila

Schwity had trouble on 12 May 2011

I run Voila 3.0.4 on 10.6.7 and from the beginning I have the problem that I can't change the shortcuts in the preferences at any time. The program set it back on its own predefined standard at each time. Especially it is very unfortunately that Voila use the standard OS X shortcut "cmd+alt+w" for linking to an url.

But worst of all there is no response to my email. I wrote it over 4 weeks ago and there is still no reaction from the developer. That is really bad!

Common guys on global delight. Please eliminate this bug as soon as possible and be more responsive.
