I am trying to mount an externat drive mounted to a dedicated IP. The drive a WesternDigital ShareSpace. Trying to mount as a shared drive using FTP.
I am able to mount the drive successfully and can see all my folders. The MAJOR PROBLEM is that everything is "read only", cannot save any files to the drive.
We are able to save files to the drive via an FTP utility, as well as mount the drive via a Windows computer. We are also able to mount the drive and read/write to the drive if we are connected to the local network.
Got excited when we tested it locally and worked, but failed remotely. Anyone have a solution? Really thought MacFusion would be the answer.
