Classic game all in itself. It's great news that there is a Mac OS X version as well! However, the forum doesn't seem up to date...I wonder how the developer is doing...
After a couple of years, Vektor3 is still just as beautiful. I use it mostly for annotating and analyzing the chess games of mine and students. I even combine my annotation with Screenium: a video capturing program. I hope to integrate Vektor3 and Screenium in the school chess club that I run.
After purchasing the program, I sent an email regarding importing PGN files--it loooks like it may have to be a true PGN file, and not just a text in PGN form. The developer responded, today! I'm hoping that you can just paste...We'll see...
Graal Online is Massive Multiplayer Online Role Playing Game, very similar to others of the genre. There are plenty of tasks and missions to accomplish, and plenty of people to meet. As I write this there were 943 players online.
However, the controls and interface are a bit awkward. A little window would often interrupt the main screen, describing a .png upload. So far, I did not find any legendary music sound track to accompany the unrelenting sound effects.
I was hoping that Graal would've brought something unique to this often rehashed genre, but I soon found out it was just like the many others--expensive subscription rates.
Legend of Space Bug is a fun missile-command type game: protect the Earth from missiles, asteroids, other spaceships, and comets. Almost has an 80s retro-arcade feel to it; but lacks anything that would make it "legendary."
Looks like they added a lot more features, and also a feature that is desperately needed: stop motion. I've followed Toon Boom for years, and am glad that they offer all kinds of bundles: kids, teens, family, and pro packets for added deals! There are special deals going on right now during the Christmas season! I'm so tempted to get Studio, but even at almost 50% off, it's still money... ;)
After moving Scid to Applications, it works until I dismount the Scid Volume. Now I get 'Bases directory not found' window crash. Any suggestions on how I can use Scid without having to keep the download Scid Volume mounted?
I'm having problems with the Hebrew fonts. I downloaded some Hebrew lessons. I go to Preferences, under Francias hit Set, I change it to a desired Hebrew font. Nothing happens, just a Romanized font. Any idea what I'm doing wrong?
Finally, a true Mahjong with RULES! Awesome! However, it crashed when I accidentally pressed CONTINUED when there wasn't a previous game recorded. Just thought you should know...
I'm with Syzzygy, here. What a pain! They should really make it clear that you need Flash Player. I did that, but still couldn't find the file to launch it. Under support, they say, "The current downloads aren't working as we hoped for. Try..." I had to trash the old one, and am currently d/l the new. So now I'm downloading that, yet it takes forever: 1/2 hour. Must be so many are d/l all at once!
During the Tutorial, around the third round handing the card to Wes, the game crashed. It sounds like (and speaking of sound: the background music is horrendous--reminds me of the old MIDI!) Dream Quest Software may have a good thing going here, but whenever I go to their website, it beats the snot out of my hard drive--makes me think they're gathering information. I have to Force Quit. Sometimes that doesn't even work. It may be a great alternative to the over-the-top Freeverse version of Hearts (what's the big deal over 3D, anyway?), but until then, let's see how quickly the developer responds...
