It is safe to say this has become the leader in video converting. OK, VisualHUB was good but the interface is so awful it is a pain in the eye. It shows it ages now. VisualHUB also has problems and issues with several codecs. Besides the stitching feature it is not that good anymore.
Anyway, iVC has clearly made a enormous progress and it is very stable and delivers high quality when you need it.
Yes, the only negative thing I can think of is the lack of a stitching option but in general most people do not need this.
This is a top notch product for audio and video converting purposes.
You cannot fail to compare this with iTubeX. It has a similar approach how to capture streams.
Some thing I like about this newbie is the ability to see if there is a stream found without pressing a button.
The batch processing is good but a progress bar in the downloads
window should be great. The iTunes-a-like interface is nice.
The interface follows the Apple guidelines - All standard shortcuts
work (like closing windows for example), the browse buttons behave
correctly, . . .
I always felt iTubeX doesn't follow these guidelines strictly and that bothers me but off course that is more of a personal thingy. But OS X users like the OS X approach of things. Don't mess with it like iTubeX did.
Don't get me wrong! iTubeX is a very good program. But seeing iTube
Grabber is only at beta I expect a lot from this. It could well be a winner if not better then iTubeX.
Wow, this is really a fantastic free tool.
It is the first tool I tried which actually works. Simple to use interface. And safe to use - I had several other tools locking up my iPhone.
